Veterans Day

Today we thank our veterans for loving their country so much they sacrificed all to serve it. Our freedom has been bought and paid for by all the Veterans for hundreds of years. “Freedom isn’t FREE!”

President Woodrow Wilson declared November 11th as Armistice Day in 1919. This was in honor of the World War I soldiers.

Later after the second world war it was to pay tribute to the veterans or both World War I and World War II.

The United States declared November 11 to be Veteran’s Day in honor of all veterans in 1954.

I’ve had brothers serve in different wars over the years as well as many friends. Some are gone now, but their patriotism and love of their families and country shines on.

God Bless our Veterans… their love and sacrifice keeps our country safe and it’s a very high price they have and are paying.
