Reviews of Old Columbus Ohio Restaurants
Clarmont Restaurant
The Clarmont Restaurant was established in 1947 and is still an excellent choice and one of the finest white-tablecloth restaurants in the city.
Update: It was announced that the Clarmont Restaurant has closed after 65 years of service according to the release in the Columbus Dispatch on January 24, 2012. I’m really sad to hear this because this was one of my favorite restaurants. The owner is contemplating selling – we’ll see what happens!
Florentine Restaurant
The Florentine Restaurant has been in operation since 1945 and the Penzone Family is still serving up some of the finest food in the city of Columbus.
Gahanna Grill
The Gahanna Grill in Columbus hasn’t changed location since it opened and it was during the time of horse drawn wagons.
Knotty Pine Restaurant
The Knotty Pine Restaurant in Columbus opened in 1935 and is still popular in the Grandview area.
Ringside Cafe
The Ringside Cafe in Columbus is the oldest sports bar in Columbus, Ohio. Dating back to 1897 it has quite a history.
Schmidt’s Sausage Hause
Schmidt’s Sausage Hause in German Village has been around since the late 1800′s and still serves the best sausage around!
TAT Ristorante
TAT Ristorante in Columbus still whips up one of the finest pizzas around and so much more!
