LaScala Dublin Ohio

The LaScala Dublin Ohio is an Italian Bistro named after the famous La Scala in Milan that was built by an architect named Piermarini in 1778.

It had originally been the Royal Ducal T before it was destroyed by fire. The La Scala was named after Regina Della Scala. She had founded the site in the 14th century. Noted for its works, every great Italian composer has written for this theater.

The Ciotola Family has been serving the Columbus/Dublin Ohio area for over 30 years and works diligently to keep “The standard of performance” of the great La Scala in Milan. You will find authentic olde-world Italian cuisine at this excellent restaurant.

I’ve had the pleasure of eating at La Scala several times for both business luncheons and leisurely dinners.

They do serve lunch buffets as well as entrees and I can highly recommend the Grilled Shrimp Plate for lunch.

Dinner brings a large variety of appetizers and entrees. One of my favorites is the Bruchetta which is Italian bread that is wood fired with olive oil, garlic, red peppers, grilled eggplant, portabello mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese. You can’t go wrong with their Manicotti either!

They also offer carry-out meals and banquet services. The banquet rooms are very nice and they have several options.

They serve lunch and dinner and they are open Tuesday through Sunday, closed on Monday.

Recent retirement party at LaScala

We chose LaScala for my husbands retirement party hosted by his former employer, Armstrong Steel. The excellent service, food and atmosphere helped make this a perfect celebration to honor a long career. Wouldn’t have changed one thing. Thank you LaScala!

Baby Boomer – LaScala Restaurant

(Grove City, Ohio USA)

My husband and I are baby boomers – we are so glad this restaurant has the dinner and shows like the British Invasaion – with dancing – WOW a place that WE baby boomers can go spend money to enjoy OUR kind of music —-

When you think about it there is really no place that we know of in Columbus where you can go – sit down and have a drink or dinner and enjoy music from the 60′s – 70′s and 80′s.

As a suggestion….we would like to see Lascala have a DISCO dinner dance – even if you hired a great DJ – what fun – if people wanted to dress accordingly – so be it – it only adds to the fun!! Please give us Boomers more!!!

Yeah!

If you haven’t checked out La Scala in awhile, you should check it out! Transfer of Ownership to the chef and general manager has made some tremendous changes. My favorite is the cajun pasta. Service is wonderful.
