So what does this program actually do?
The Future of America Leadership Development Program works with these young people that have limited opportunities. They focus on teaching them leadership skills that include building blocks – a commitment to learning, positive values, social competencies, and a positive identity.

This is “hands on” as kids learn through various situations they may never have the opportunity to be in. They’ll learn by serving others… a concept that really needs to be brought back to life in today’s world.
They’ll also learn in a group environment and have fun while they learn. They’ll have plenty of outdoor recreation which includes various things like horseback riding, climbing walls, weekend retreats, serving food to the Special Olympic participants, participating in food and toy drives during the holiday season and so much more.

The Future of America Program will help our kids learn to achieve personal goals, develop problem solving, decision making, and communication skills. They’ll be with kids of diverse backgrounds and explore relationship skills and effective leadership skills.
They’ll also be building meaningful friendships… possibly life-long relationships. Awards are also part of the program and each year “The Spirit Mind & Body Award is presented to a youth that’s selected by their peers.
An amazing opportunity for these children… Find out more information or help support this program by volunteering or making donations, please visit the Future of America website.
