The County Cork Irish Pub has changed hands and is now Old Bag of Nails

This pub is located in the old downtown section of Hilliard, which is the historic section of the town. The building itself is old-world class and charm. It’s a friendly place, very casual, a bit of the Irish, and they make you feel at home.
The menu has appetizers, salads, sandwiches and sides, and desserts. They have about a dozen choices of sandwiches and four or five choices for sides. The desserts aren’t listed as they change and your server will let you know what the desserts are for the day.
They do carry a number of Specialty Domestic and Draught Beers, as well as domestic bottles and imported. I’m not a beer drinker, but I’ve heard both good and fair reports. So I guess if you like beer you’ll have to check that out!
They do have several white and red wines to choose from, a few cocktails, and several choices in Martinis.
For lunchtime business people, they do have wireless capabilities and state that you can conduct your business while you enjoy your lunch.
I can say that the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and Kettle Potato Chips were good and fresh, and served quickly.
If you’re looking for private banquet service, they offer several options and you can see those options at their Web site.
For a leisurely night out, you’ll definitely enjoy the County Cork Irish Pub!
