16th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony
Date: November 21, 2014 at 6:00 PM on Town Square
Location: Easton Town Center, Town Square, Columbus, OH
Join us for our 16th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony. Help us celebrate the simple and unexpected joys of Christmas with entertainment that will involve, engage and surprise.
Watch children’s eyes sparkle as Santa arrives, along with a special guest, to illuminate Easton’s 50-ft Christmas tree and a breathtaking display of lights!
Cap the evening’s festivities with a visit to Easton Station for photos with Santa, along with extra surprises along the way. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season, and it’s only at Easton!

Cedarville University Christmas Concert
The Music department proudly presents the annual Christmas Concert. This event is free and open to the public for audiences of all ages who enjoy Christ-Centered musical entertainment.

Join us in the village as the spirit of Dickens comes to life! Charles Dickens’ festive and enduring vision of Christmas transforms Ohio Village into a Victorian wonderland. Come enjoy crafts, decorations, caroling, cooking demonstrations and samplings and many more Victorian holiday traditions inspired by Dickens’ colorful tales.

Get into the holiday spirit by enjoying one of the largest evening illuminated holiday events in Ohio! The Holiday Lights Parade and Celebration is complete with floats, marching bands and, of course, Santa Claus.
The parade steps off at 6 pm (heading West on Granville/SR 62–then marches north on Mill St.). Santa will arrive at Creekside Plaza at approximately 6:30 pm for the Tree Lighting. Enjoy live music, food vendors and fun for everyone!
Enter the Gahanna Convention & Visitors Bureau’s second annual Gingerbread House Competition, open to families, groups, businesses and individuals. Prizes are awarded in multiple categories. Entries may be dropped off at the Gahanna CVB (167 Mill St. Gahanna OH 43230) anytime between December 1-December 19, 2014.
Gahanna – The Santa Race and Little Reindeer Dash

The start and finish area will take place on Mill Street at the beautiful Creekside Plaza. The top 300 finishers receive a fabulous looking custom medal. While the main event will be fun, we don’t want to forget about those Little Reindeer dashers. Each Reindeer Dash participant will receive their own colorful youth shirt, a finishers ribbon and a one of a kind gift.

Gahanna Holiday Character Breakfast

Gifts of the Craftsmen

The museum’s annual holiday sale, Gifts of the Craftsmen will feature unique gifts handcrafted by over 60 artists from across the state. Grand Illumination Ceremony With Mayor Coleman
Mayor Michael B. Coleman invites you to celebrate the holiday season and Grand Illumination of Bicentennial Park and the Scioto Mile!
Enjoy traditional carols, a custom light show choreographed to seasonal music, and a special appearance by Santa! In the spirit of giving, support the Empty Bowls project by purchasing a piece of handcrafted pottery and receive a bowl of hearty chicken and dumpling soup compliments of Milestone 229. All proceeds benefit the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.
Complimentary cookies and hot cocoa will be available immediately following the ceremony.

Children share their wishes with the Jolly, Old Elf. Take your own photo or make a $5 donation to T.W.I.G. 184 benefiting Nationwide Children’s Hospital to receive one.

Drop off monetary, food or personal hygiene products for the Grove City Food Pantry or a toy or gift card donation for the Firefighters holiday toy drive.
Grove City Arts Council Christmas Art Exhibit – 11AM-9PM – City Hall Council Chamber
View the annual juried art exhibit of works by local artists and cast a vote for your favorite for the People’s Choice Award.

Holiday Choir Performances at the Ohio Statehouse

Free lunch-time concerts from Ohio musical groups will take place weekdays. Musical performances are scheduled each weekday at noon in the Crypt of the Ohio Statehouse. Residents, staff and visitors will be treated to a lunch hour concert as Ohio choirs and musical groups celebrate and sing the songs of the season. The concerts are free and open to the public.
