Columbus Ohio Christmas Festivities
Gifts of the Craftsmen
Dates: November 6–December 23, 2016
Location: Ohio Craft Museum, 1665 West Fifth Avenue, Grandview, Ohio
The museum’s annual holiday sale will feature unique gifts handcrafted by over 90 artists from across the state. Holiday shoppers will find beautiful jewelry, functional pottery, wooden serving bowls and utensils, knit scarves and hats, leather accessories, handmade ornaments and greeting cards.
18th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony
Date: November 18, 2016 at 6:30 PM on Town Square
Location: Easton Town Center, Town Square, Columbus, OH
Join us Friday, November 18, for our 18th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony. Help us celebrate the simple and unexpected joys of Christmas with entertainment that will involve, engage and surprise. Watch children’s eyes sparkle as Santa arrives, along with a special guest, to illuminate Easton’s 50-ft Christmas tree and a breathtaking display of lights! Cap the evening’s festivities with a visit to Easton Station for photos with Santa, along with extra surprises along the way. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season, and it’s only at Easton!
After the Lights Come On…
Many retailers and restaurants will keep the festivities going after the lighting ceremony. Stay tuned for a list of activities to experience the evening of the Holiday Lighting Ceremony!
North District – Horse-drawn carriage rides will again be offered during the holiday season at Easton Town Center in the North District. Rides begin November 20 after the Lighting Ceremony and run through December 23: Cost is $10 per person. Children under 15 ride free with paying adult.

Holiday Easton Entertainers
Dates: November 18-December 24, 2016 (Various hours) throughout Easton Town Center, Columbus, OH
Professional musical groups will animate Easton Town Center and provide a unique entertainment offering throughout the holiday season.
It’s an A Capella Christmas with this all male glee quartet. Expect modern twists on time honored Christmas carols.
A traditional favorite, the Yuletide Brass Quartet heralds in the holidays with regal renditions of Christmas classics.
A modern saxophone quartet, Seasons Sax performs jazzy renditions of holiday favorites.
Deck the Halls with this 6 piece A Capella group made up of members of OSU’s glee club, “Buck That”.
The Candy Canes
This all female A Capella trio delights with modern twists on Christmas classics.
Tis the Season to honor traditions with the exquisite harmonies of the Victorian carolers of VoiceQuad.
Holidays at the Conservatory – Merry & Bright
Feel the spirit of the season surrounded by festive horticulture displays and evening lighting. Enjoy a gingerbread competition, Paul Busse model garden railway, and an array of activities and entertainment scheduled throughout the season.

Ohio Statehouse Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting
Date: December 1, 2016 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: Ohio Statehouse Rotunda, Atrium, South Hallway and Museum Gallery, 1 Capitol Square, Columbus, OH 43215
The holiday season opens in Ohio with the annual holiday Statehouse event. Attend the Statehouse Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting to kick off the 2015 holiday season. Holiday activities include: carolers, refreshments, model trains, community mascots and much more. Historical characters and modern dignitaries will be on hand to greet guests, including Santa himself. Free and open to the public.
Grand Illumination Ceremony
Celebrate the holiday season with the Grand Illumination of the Scioto Mile. The lights twinkle in Bicentennial Park and along the Scioto Mile until mid-January. In keeping with the city’s green initiatives, all seasonal decorations feature energy efficient LED lighting, including more than 250,000 LED lights on 150 trees. The Scioto Mile Fountain presented by the American Electric Power Foundation comes alive for the holiday season with festive video projections and illuminated spheres suspended from each of the five fountain halos.
The event is free to the public.

SegAway Tours of Columbus will once again be offering unique gliding tours during the upcoming holiday season. The 1.5 hour tour will cruise along the Scioto Mile, over the new Rich Street & Main Street bridges, through Columbus Commons and visit State Auto’s historic Christmas display. Riders will listen to festive holiday music through their helmets while they enjoy the decorations that illuminate our capital city.
